Our recent western wear footwear 1883 collection has featured several styles with pointed toes. Today, we want to look at the Lucchese square toe boots beautifully designed with Black Ranch Hand Leather. As we’ve come to expect, the material is extra soft calf skin leather, detailed perfectly with the signature Luchesse stitching.

Let’s focus on the design and style of this footwear. This bootmaker describes this model with a seven (7), their label for a medium blunt square toe with an angle cut. This gives a more metropolitan look, especially when compared to some of the sharp, pointy toed western boots.

And Lucchase has used a classics cow boy heel at 1 1/2 inches. They have a 12″ mid calf height and a 13″ circumference around your calves. Instead of ostrich or lizard, they’ve gone with supple calfskin material that’s finished with a great looking black burnished color with their Ranch Hand Leather. Sizes extend up to 11M or size 12 depending on current available inventory stock. And lots of men will appreciate the option to pick either the D medium width or the wide EE width for larger feet. The square toe Lucchase cowboy boots are an example of fine handmade, comfortable Texas footwear. Lots of positive reviews and they look great with wrangler jeans too.

There’s something special about the way Lucchese 1883 cowboy boots fit your feet. They’ve been making shoes in Texas for a very long time from the finest of leather – calfskin, goat, ostrich and lizard. The N4565 are 11 inch high Cowgirl Classics crafted in extra soft calf black leather. The stitch design is crisp, superb and near perfect. Women’s western boots like this are rare. Yes, there are other brands like Tony Lama, Ariat and Justin. But it’s very hard to match the workmanship we’ve come to expect from Luccese.

Whether you’re riding a horse or running errands, women will be just as comfortable wearing this footwear from the 1883 collection. Pair them with wrangler jeans and a white western shirt and you’re almost guaranteed to get compliments. Sizes start at 5M in standard widths, but available selections are starting to get low. The good news is that as we write this, there is a great sale price on the N4565 at zappos. And read ALL of the incredible reviews about the Luchesse Black Ranch Hand Cowboy Boots while you’re there.

Lots of detailed stitching on these Honey Ranch Hand Cowboy Boots by Lucchese N8111. This beautiful boot is crafted with Myela stitching on the honey color soft leather (no goatskin or ostrich on this model). Built on a 1 1/2 inch cowboy style heel, it has decorated loop pull straps on the 11 inch mid calf height shaft. This footwear is the real deal. You can do everything in them – ride horses or wear them while training or working the animals on your ranch. They’re comfy the first day you put them on. So you can go to the feed store or go out to dinner and never have to worry about blisters or walking in foot pain.

The Lucchase 1883 boots seem to be just a little narrow. The toe area is long and pointed. This means if you have thin feet, you should be fine. But if you have wide or extra wide feet, then consider ordering with the wide width fit instead.

Ladies are ready to rodeo in these red cowgirl Lucchese boots. Made from extra soft leather goatskin, this Tristan red boot is handmade with beautiful stitching, tall 13 inch height and a 1.5 inch heel made with full leather. This style is not available in wide widths, but let’s talk about sizing for a moment.

Several women who have narrow feet have noticed that they get a better fit when they order Luchesse boots from the popular 1883 collection. We can only guess that the standard widths in this series is more tailored to men’s and women’s thin foot sizes. So if this sounds like it fits your needs, then you want the Tristan Red Cowboy boots. Look for Lucchese N4525 at zappos to find this exact footwear.

Don’t forget that these pointy toe western boots will eventually conform to your feet for a custom fit. The first time you put them on, they WILL feel a little tight. And then they will begin to relax and stretch to your foot’s shape. Very comfortable.

When we hear the phrase western boots, we think of Lucchese. Their comfort is extraordinary. And this Texas brand has gained national attention for it’s quality and fit. The Tan Mad Dog Goat Boot may be one of their most popular styles as part of their 1883 collection. With it’s cowboy heels at 1 3/4 inches and shaft height at 11″, this pair is crafted with the finest, soft goat leather available. Of course the detailed stitching is outstanding and even the heels are made with leather.

Another feature that makes them so great is the option to order a wide (C) width. Of course you can order this in a standard B medium width for men or women, but it’s rare for cowgirl boots to be offered with a wider width.

Conforms to the Shape of Your Feet

If you’re not used to wearing this brand, take note that the first time you put them on, they should feel a little snug across your instep. And they are designed to slip a little in the heel for comfort. As you continue to wear this footwear, they will begin to conform to the shape of your foot. You’ll notice there is very little break in period. They’re made to feel comfortable almost from the moment you slip your feet into them.

If you order the Mad Dog Goatskin Luchese boots from Zappos, then look for number N4540 to get this same style. They have a rich honey color and the soft, supple goat leather gives them fantastic comfort. Made for both men and women, the next time y’all are putting on your hats and jeans, don’t forget your Lucchese western boots.
