These are not your average pull on western boots. No ma’am. These are authentic women’s cowboy boots by Old Gringo “Leopardito”. What fabulous footwear they have designed with it’s leopard print on top of some of the finest goat leather available. The color is described as Ocre Viejo. We’d say it’s not exactly tan, but more like a light brown. They’ve taken the distressed leather look to a higher level. Even the 1.5 inch heels and outer soles have “distressed scratch” features suitable for cowgirls ready to rodeo or a night out for dancing. We like it!
Okay. We know they look great, but how about the fit? Well, with almost no break in time, the “Leopardito” gets positive reviews from ladies who wore them for up to 9 hours straight. The comfort rating was high. Some women felt like it’s better to order a half size larger so they can wear thick, heavy socks. Not a bad idea. Of course, this footwear will stretch a little so it all depends on if you have wide or narrow feet or maybe you have a high instep. You can always adjust with a combo pack of Foot Petals inserts. They work well.
Whether you need these for a dude ranch or just for walking down city sidewalks, these goatskin western cowgirl boots are great. In fact, the rubber heel will help give your feet extra shock absorption when you need it the most. One west Texas girl who knows her western wear, now has a new favorite boot brand in Old Gringo. We think you’ll agree.
